In the past week, the romantic comedy 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' featuring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi has been competing fiercely against the historical war film 'Kesari Veer', starring Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty. Both films have made their mark in theaters, but their earnings tell a different story.

Box Office Collection Update: Day 6 Figures

As reported by industry sources, 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' garnered approximately Rs 3.25 crore on its sixth day, bringing its total earnings to Rs 40.50 crore. In contrast, 'Kesari Veer' has struggled significantly, managing to accumulate only Rs 1.37 crore overall.

Initially set for an OTT release on May 16, 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' was later launched in theaters on May 23. Following its theatrical run, it is expected to be available on Prime Video. The film also features a talented ensemble cast including Sanjay Mishra, Seema Bhargava Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan, Anubha Fateh Puria, Jay Thakkar, and Pragati Mishra in key roles.

Previously, 'Bhool Chuk Maaf' faced controversy when its producers opted for a direct OTT release. This decision prompted PVRInox to issue a legal notice to Maddock Films and Pen Marudhar due to concerns over the current situation and increased security measures nationwide.
